Place de la République

Recently I discovered a small place in Yorkville down Old York Lane called Belle de Provence. It's sort of a home/bath&body/scent store. It smells beautiful and everything in the store is just magnifique. Being there reminds me of a Quebecois French artist I know of named Coeur de Pirate so I thought I would share one of her songs. (Even if it isn't Monday anymore ahaha) Another thing on the store is that it is merchandised so well, it's so cute and everything is set so perfectly. I loved my experience there. :)

Gold Chains, Graphics & Baseball Caps

These days I just seem to be obsessed with wearing my gold chain. I'm not usually one to wear jewelry or really care about accessories for that matter but this is one piece that I absolutely adore. The gold just looks great with almost everything that I wear....especially black for the contrast. My baseball cap was one of those random purchases. At work I found out that people could wear hats while working so I was like why not. But honestly this has got to be one of the biggest trends that hit the summer time and I'm loving it. There's something about a simple black baseball cap that can still allow you to look chique. Lastly is my "Ain't Laurent Without Yves" Tee. I saw it on tumblr one time and new I needed that in my wardrobe. The white font against the black looks so classic plus the phrase is a nice play on words. I had fun with this outfit...wish I had taken a full length pic though. Sorry for the delay on a post! I will try harder : )

I'm not sure how clear I've made it that Korean culture and fashion absolutely amaze and inspire me. S. Korea as a nation itself is really rising and making a mark for itself in the fashion world. the Studio K really left a deep impression on me with their F/W Collection.

OOTD: Soaking up the Last Days of Summer

I honestly cannot believe summer is coming to end. Maybe it's because I spent all my days at the mall working or because here in Ontario, the weather was just generally messed up all summer...all year to be exact.

I actually think I need to enroll in shopaholics anonymous. I just love clothing and its so hard not to shop when you work at the mall in one of the coolest stores plus a massive sale is going on around the corner at Aritizia!

Everytime my supervisor walks into our store...I want everything she wears. When I saw this outfit I knew I need to ask for a pic. Plus it's clear she's so gangster.

OOTN: Black is the New Black.

I think at this point it's safe to say I really enjoy wearing black. As my title suggests black is something that won't go out for me because nothing is comparable to it. :)

A Day at the Le Beach.

Yesterday marked our family's annual family picnic. Honestly one of the biggest events of the year...and seeing the natural beauty and just having fun with everyone was such a treat.

Army green has really made it's mark in the fashion industry this year...tonight the weather was cool so I thought some darker colours with nylons would be a nice idea.

So I decided to now dedicate Monday's to a song. Everyone loves music and I just think music is best when we share it! This is Jay-Z's new song Part II (On the Run) with Beyonce, it's just so good has this nice 90s feel to it. Great for a lazy summer Monday!

Two colours that I absolutely love wearing together is grey and black because they give you this sleek, classy and simple look...if worn right.

Monochrome it Up! The Haul

Even though it's spring I'm not feeling the bright colours and quite frankly it appears to be that way with many people I have talked with. It's all about the neutral colours. Most people think with neutral colours you blend in with the rest but that's not true. Along with my haul, we will learn some tips when trying to follow the monochrome trend.

Now that the weather is getting warmer, I can finally express myself a little better than when it's all covered up in the winter.

Its been awhile since I last updated and I hate that! Because I actually enjoy doing this blog.  So this coming new year my resolution is to frequently update...whether it be just one post a week I really want you guys and girls to have something to read again! And maybe some videos too ^^
