Trendy Tuesdays: High Waisted Shorts

This trend is definitely a blast from the past that I'm absolutely in love with. It's one trend that I give a huge thumbs up to....if worn right.

I've always had a complete love for high waisted items they've been in style for a several years now. It's just that every year the high waisted item for the trend changes. And this year it is vintage or non-vintage high waisted shorts.

I just love pairing these shorts with a looser tee or a crop top for that fun summer feel. It also looks really good with a fringed shirt. It's just one of those pieces that I am hoping stays in for longer than just this year. 

Now the problem with this trend...I really hate find faults with trends but their always seems to be some problem and that is sometimes girls like the have these shorts really high but let their backside hang out. It's just not attractive at all ...not even remotely attractive. 

I was talking to some guys and a for a fact they hate or find it a turn off. No one really wants to see a girls ass hanging out of shorts. But once again if it's what you like then who am I to tell you to stop!

I give this trend four stars because its awesome! But I am not a fan of how some people wear it and therefore cannot give this trend full stars. All in all, I think this is a summer must for girls and each should definitely have at least one pair in their closet :)
