Worldwide Wednesday : The Sari

The sari is one of the most beautiful and cultural fashion piece that I just absolutely love. It's such a versatile style to because it can be worn in so many different ways.

You definitely do not have to be from Southern Asia to pull off this look. Unfortunately, there are far too many stereotypes associated with this stunning item. The vibrant colours it can come in, the amazing places that it can be worn and the various different ways you can style it, just turns the sari into a multi item.

I've seen sari's in all the colours of the rainbow and more! From pink to blue to green and to black and gold. It's almost as if there are no limits with this item.

When I was younger me and my mother would always go to this Indian clothing shop that sold these saris and I just remember being in awe at how beautiful they were. I always wished I had one and still do! 

They can be worn to the most glamorous events such as the red carpet, prom or to weddings. My friend had the most beautiful pink sari at prom and I just loved it! (I was pretty jealous haha) Plus she won best dressed so that tells you how influential, powerful and sexy (without being tight and revealing all the skin on your body...what a cool item) the sari truly is.

I have to give this full ratings because it's not a style limited to one culture, one season and it's not a trend that'll just die out eventually. It will always be there looking stunning and beautiful. South Asians know how dress that's for sure and they made it such a fun outfit.

So remember just like vibrancy and limitless opportunities of the sari...
